Women should read the Nexplanon Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) carefully before Nexplanon is inserted and keep a copy for their reference. A copy of the Nexplanon PIL can be downloaded from the EMC website, and is also freely available to women to download within the Information for women and My Nexplanon areas of this website.
